BATTLEFIELD 4 PREMIUM DETAILS - GAMESCOM 2013

Today at the EA press conference at Gamescom DICE revealed some details about the digital content service called Battlefield 4 Premium.

Similar to Call of Duty Elite in its first year, Premium will give players access to all kinds of ancillary content for the shooter and is being dubbed and, "exciting and exclusive club." Subscribers of Premium will get 2 weeks early access to the 5 expansion packs for the game, including early access to weapons, vehicles, and game modes.

The five expansions will be China Rising which will release in December, Second Assault which is coming to Xbox One first, Naval Strike will hit in Spring 2014, Dragon's Teeth, and Final Stand will coming around summer next year.

Premium members will also get 12 battlepacks and access to priority server cues.

DICE also announced Levolution, a fancy way to refer to the destructible environments in the game. You can destroy a level so much that you level it down and it evolves into another map.
