LISBON - Isidro Paiva was born in Portel, 1987. In 2009, he graduated in Painting by the University of Évora and attended the course of Clothing Design Techniques at Modatex, in Lisboa. In 2012, he did a degree in Footwear Design at ESAD in Matosinhos. He debuted in 2015 with the collection ‘Maniac Shapes’ at Concept Fashion Design.

Isidro Paiva works the intersection of ideas and media between painting and fashion. He subverts classical elements of garments and reformulates clichés – feminine and masculine – in a logic of individual aesthetic statement.
