President's rule has been imposed 126 times in different states of the country so far. President's rule finally came into force in Maharashtra on Tuesday. In view of the political situation in the state, Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari recommended it to the President, which was accepted by the President. At the same time, the Union Cabinet also approved it.

महाराष्ट्र में आखिरकार मंगलवार को राष्ट्रपति शासन लागू हो गया। राज्य के राजनीतिक हालात को देखते हुए राज्यपाल भगत सिंह कोश्यारी ने राष्ट्रपति से इसकी सिफारिश की थी, जिसे राष्ट्रपति ने स्वीकार कर लिया। वहीं केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने भी इसकी मंजूरी दे दी।
