A Taiwanese eatery will soon open up in Los Angeles offering patrons not only good food, but also the opportunity to enjoy sitting on the throne.

A Taiwanese eatery opening up in Los Angeles is offering patrons not only good food but the opportunity to enjoy sitting on the throne, as in toilet, while they eat their meal.

Basically the joint is decorated just like a bathroom. Tile walls surround the space. Instead of sitting in standard booths or stools, diners get to relax on some toilet seats.

Keeping up with the quirky theme, guests will eat their meal out of toilet shaped bowls. Called the Magic Restroom Café, it is owned by a first time restaurateur from China, who is attempting to bring the bathroom-themed restaurant phenomenon to the United States.

They are already a huge hit in China and Taiwan.

The porcelain bowls are all purchased from Japan, however the toilets come in two types: standard Western or squat.

While some local residents and food experts are skepitcal of the toilet environment, there are others willing to give it a try. At the end of the day, it all comes down to the food.

A few noteworthy menu items include "Bloody Number Two" which is a vanilla-strawberry sundae and "Smells-Like-Poop"; a not so fancy name for braised pork over rice.
