The band was formed by Banu, Minam and Mithy who all hail from Arunachal Pradesh. . After a year long hiatus, the present setup was formed with the addition of vocalist and keytarist Cheyyrian Bark from Assam in Jan 2011.br br The Vinyl Records (TVR) is a regular on the Delhi gig circuit and has been featured often in the national press. Taking cues from musical inspirations such as CSS ,The Clash, Strokes and the B-52's TVR are a great live band. They describe their sound as indie, post punk and the sound from new wave eras of 70s and 80s when analog and early digital sound was popular & fusing indie and post punk with a dash of glam rock kitsch with the keytar! The band featured on MTV F1 Rocks 2011 and are among the 15 finalists of the Ray-Ban Never Hide Sounds 2012.
