Marsha Youree - I love to be a mother

Marsha Youree - I love to be a mother

Some houses try to hide the fact br that children shelter there. br Ours boasts of it quite openly, br the signs are everywhere. br For smears are on the windows, br little smudges on the doors, br I should apologize, I guess, br for toys strewn on the floor. br But I sat down with Kerington br and we played and laughed and read; br And if the doorbell doesn't shine, br her eyes will shine instead. br For when at times I'm forced to choose br the one job or the other; br I like a neat and pretty house- but br I love to be a mother.
