As a child, I didn't like photographs, br I remember seeing them br all lined up on the mantle shelf, br browning with age. br br Do you recall the black and white ones? br When they fade it seemed to me, br the souls of the people fade too br and that scared me. br br I'd never owned a camera br but a friend bought me one recently. br It sits in my bedside drawer br with its battery running out.................. br br I don't want my soul to fade.........
