john mc cudden - Laws And Gods

How good it would be to be as we want br And not as others see us br What it would be if we were free? br Not to do what other tell us br br Now we can’t walk the streets br Without the eye upon us br So how can you live free? br When they are spying on us br br When we make mistakes br The law comes down on us br By laws made by local folk br And world laws made to confuse us br br What it would be to be free br From the laws set to guide us br And so to you I look dear god br What do you have to offer? br br I am left confused which one to choose br As you are so many br Just who’s right and who is wrong br This I beg to differ br So I leave it up to you dear god br Which one and whoever br br What it would be to be free br And not as others tell us br If I were free from laws and gods br Then this world would be for me br br Each person could make their choice br Without feeling the eyes on us br And the law is down upon us br br And so to you my dear friend br What do they do for us? br I don’t know what they want from us br But the eyes are upon usbr br john mc cuddenbr br
