Today I thought it might be fun br Writing of things I’ve never done br Like flying out in outer space br Or winning a Supreme Court case br br I’ve never caught a touchdown pass br Or found a track star I could surpass br I never wrote a hit pop tune br Or a classic tune like Claire de Lune br br Never found my Lost Horizon br Which, of course, is not suprisin’ br Even though I was so inclined br I never had a concubine br br Didn’t act in a picture show br Or swim with fish, like Jacque Cousteau br I’ve never climbed the highest peaks br Or had a record winning streak br br Could it be, I’ve missed a lot? br If that is so, I say “so what” br Why worry about those things I’ve shunned br I’m quite delighted with those I’ve donebr br Stanley Cooperbr br
