Joyce Horovitz - A Little Night Music

Joyce Horovitz - A Little Night Music

It's twilight time and the night creatures are bidding farewell to the day. br The birds softly chirp as they're rocked to sleep on branches a breeze makes sway. br The crickets and katydids compete with the frogs in a musical marathon. br And the bull frogs add their bass guitars, trying to br strum along. br While this band plays the sky becomes a dance floor for the stars. br And the Big Dipper winks a tango for Jupiter and Mars. br Somewhere a fox pretends he's a coyote, howling at the moon, br And I'm transported to another world this beautiful night in June. br Unfortunately, I must lever this scene and wander off to bed br Still listening to this night music playing in my head. br And the crack for dawn is a sound unheard.
