Marrissia Holliday - Thorns

Marrissia Holliday - Thorns

The warm sun, br A soft breeze, br A gentle kiss, br Your memory it haunts me br Your warm skin so close to mine br So sweet, So kind br Flashbacks to happy times, br The long walks in the spring, br The birds they still sing so why can't I? br Now the hard rain like my tears beats down on my skin. br So cold is the breeze, br Now not so sweet br It's more like a gushing wind tossing me from end to end.. br I'm pleading and begging but no one hears. br I fall to the ground onto the thorns and tears br They rip, they pull at my skin br The blood spills from the wounds br Onto the rainy street, br The rain puddles turn to blood br Faster and faster I'm bleeding out br I lay there staring into the blackest sky, br Remembering the way it was, br I want that br Soft breeze, br The warm sun br A gentle kiss on my skin br But I guess I'll never win. br The thorns they keep on br pulling and ripping at my skin, br This I know this is finally the end..
