Ray Mather - Two Boys Crying

Ray Mather - Two Boys Crying

Across the world br Two boys are crying, br Both wanting more br And tired of trying. br br The first boy wants a mountain bike br And blames his mum for being mean; br Had enough of the daily hike, br He’s desperate to be part of the scene. br br All day long br The wanting burns strong. br All the night br The wanting burns bright. br So little to ask, br Bikes are everywhere; br Oh, why is life so unfair? br br The second boy wants something to eat br But is too weak to place the blame. br His mother weeps, helpless, dead-beat, br While his father hangs his head in shame. br All day long br The hunger burns strong. br All the night br The hunger burns bright. br So little to ask, br Food is everywhere; br Oh, why is life so unfair? br br Across the world br Two boys are crying, br One’s full of life, br The other is dying.
