I just wanted to do some fishing, br Got some squid for bait, a good Penn rod and reel, br And a six pack and some sandwiches. br Turning in behind the last sand dunes, br I parked my truck, and headed, br For my favorite spot. br Usually I cast from about thirty feet in, br Just so I can clear the third sand bar. br To my surprise, as I rounded the last dune, br I saw five young girls, nineteen or twenty, br Lying in the sand, naked as jaybirds, br Working on their tans. br They looked up at me and what they saw, br Was a totally flustered old man. br They smiled and one asked, br Going fishing sir? br I replied something to the effect, br That I had left my tackle box in California, br But that I would be back, sometime next month. br As I bid a hasty retreat, br I heard the sound of spontaneous laughter, br Break out behind me. br Oh yea, well let's see what the ranger, br Has to say about this. br Last time I checked this wasn't a nude beach. br Grumpy old man, oh well I guess I can find, br Another spot. br I'll leave the poor kids alone.
