There are so many benefits that come with effective eye contact; it conveys honesty, sincerity, conviction and confidence. When you’re in front of a group, you must make the listeners feel as though you are connecting with them, and old-school tactics such as combing the crowd like a mine sweeper or looking at the back wall just don’t work.
