PopOut was formed in Jakarta by two old friends and alumni of the Jalan Potlot community, Massto Sidharta (vocals + Music Programming + drums) and Ario Bayu Putro (guitar + Music programming). The duo started jamming together in 2012, melding influences like Depeche Mode, Stereo MC's, Dan Reed Network, U2, EMF, and Chemical Brothers with a keen sense for carrying a song through the rhythm.
Today they spend 30 minutes doing their thing for Oxjam, raising vital funds for Oxfam while streaming live to the world on the BandViews live music platform.
