Wild boar invades tourist beach in southern China

Dramatic CCTV footage has emerged from China of a wild boar attacking a tourist beach before being shot dead by the police.
In the footage, captured on the security camera of a hostel at the beach in Guangdong Province earlier this month, the animal can be seen breaking into a courtyard where tourists are having a barbecue.
The boar then rushed to the beach and injured three tourists, until police arrived and killed the 80kg creature with several shots, according to news reports.
The casualties were hospitalised but did not suffer serious injuries.
