We told you on Friday all about DJ Khaleds seemingly serious marriage proposal video message to pal Nicki Minaj including a stunning $500,000 ring! Nicki has still not directly responded to the heartfelt proposal, but Thursday she did retweet her website PinkFriday.com who tweeted the video. Then Saturday Nicki posted a picture wearing a shirt with the word "LOVE" on it and the caption "Its all u need." Fans think this is Nickis response to Khaled gesture, but what does it really mean? Over the weekend rumors surfaced that Nicki had filed a restraining order in New York against her friend Khaled, in response to the video. Now it appears those rumors are SO FALSE. Khaled tweeted Sunday night, "Yall know better than that they dont put restraining orders on BOSSES Im the DON U witnessing..." along with this picture of Khaled looking fly smoking a cigar. So according to DJ theres no restraining order to be had, and hes also maintaining that the proposal is serious! While on the red carpet this weekend Khaled told US Weekly, "I want to marry her! I was serious." And Khaled reiterated his feelings in an interview with radio station Power 106 Saturday saying, "Nicki Minaj, I love you. Nicki Minaj, will you marry me? I aint changing that." As we wait to find out how this love story will end, Nickis ring finger has been under much public scrutiny. Nickis been rocking a huge ring on her ring finger as of late so, we have to ask... is she ALREADY engaged? Yes she keeps her dating life private but shes long been linked to her best friend and hype man "SB" AKA Safaree Samuels? Nicki was seen wearing this huge ring at various events this month including her yacht party on the 4th of July, seen in these Instagram pictures. If Nicki really did get that rock from SB, then rumors of the Khaled proposal being a publicity stunt have some merit. Since the day the video was posted on MTVs website some called into question his intentions, that it may be a giant PR stunt on DJ Khaleds behalf! One line that Khaled says in his video proposal is, "We got the same symptoms, we both suffer from success" and it just so happens "Suffering from Success" is the name of Khaleds new album due out this year.
