[] To be fair some stores are making this the norm. Whole Foods employees have to specifically ask if you found everything and if not they will page someone to get it for you so they can get that extra sale.

[] I have my auto loan with ally and while their customer support was good... they 100% drop the ball when it comes to making extra payments towards principal. (that's a whole different discussion) It's to the point where I will probably refinance with a credit union provided they have a robust online auto loan system that allows me to pay extra towards principal without totally messing up my account.

Chase/Capital One/Discover are all excellent online/real life banks that use chips. I think discover is online only though. They were all on the ball and sent out the updated/chipped card as soon as it became "a thing".
