. Here's a fun way to play a shuffle groove over a Dominant chord, in this case C7. Blues rhythm guitar is not only about the root-5 and root-6 back and forth. This way I'm showing you here have real chords, to make it at a bit more sophisticated. You can of course combine it with the other styles of shuffle rhythms.
