Firebeatz is a Dutch music producing duo made up of Tim Smulders and Jurre van Doeselaar that formed in Amsterdam in 2008. They have gained fame through their dance floor hits like "Dear New York", "Here We Fucking Go" and "Helicopter" on the EDM scene working alongside well-known acts like Calvin Harris, Tiësto and Martin Garrix.

Tim and Jurre met at the School of Arts in Tilburg, The Netherlands, and discovered a similar interest in music. The chemistry worked prompting them to form Firebeatz in 2008. Releases like "Funky Shit", "Where's Your Head At", "Miniman", "Dear New York" and "Here We F*cking Go" got into the higher ranks on the Beatport dance charts.

The release of the Chocolate Puma and Firebeatz collaboration "Just One More Time Baby", was appeared on BBC Radio 1 DJ Pete Tong show and received good critiques. In addition the track topped the Beatport House chart for many weeks. "Dear New York", one of their biggest hits, was a collaboration with Schella. It reached No. 2 in the Beatport Main Top 100.

In 2013, Firebeatz managed to keep the momentum with "Gangster" which reached the Beatport Top 20 and their collaboration with Bobby Burns in "Ding Dong", released by Tiësto's Musical Freedom label. Their track "Yeahhhh" came out on Calvin Harris's Fly Eye Records and Firebeatz were asked to make an exclusive remix of "Thinking About You", a collaboration between Calvin Harris and Ayah Marar. Their track "Wonderful" gained support by established DJs such as Afrojack, Chuckie, Sander van Doorn, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Thomas Gold and R3hab.

They also successfully managed to diversify and cross over to other genres by collaborating with artists like like Pitbull, James Blunt, Ian Carey, Snoop Dogg, Freestylers, Flo Rida, Timbaland, Fatman Scoop, Alex Gaudino, Wynter Gordon, Bingo Players and Sean Paul. The latter two reaching Beatport's Main Top 15.

"Max Ammo", released December 2013, has reached the Beatport top 20. Their release together with Martin Garrix "Helicopter" got to No. 1 in Beatport. They released "Guitar Track" with Sander van Doorn in March 2014 after it was initially previewed with their identities hidden.
