Former Umno President Datuk Seri Najib Razak was unable to keep his emotions in check when the Pekan MP was crowded by party members and well-wishers at the end of the Umno general assembly on Sunday.
He later tweeted and apologised that he was unable to hold back his tears, knowing that he was not alone and had their support in facing God’s “test”.
The ex-premier is facing a string of criminal charges linked to the 1MDB scandal.
