Najib, Hishammuddin urged to explain troops involvement in Ops Yemen 2

Former defence minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein and former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak must explain why Cabinet approval was not issued before military personnel were deployed to Yemen, Amanah international bureau head Raja Kamarul Bahrin Shah Raja Ahmad said at the Parliament lobby on Tuesday.
Raja Kamarul, who is also the deputy housing and local government minister, was referring to the revelation in the Dewan Rakyat a day earlier that the Cabinet was unaware of Ops Yemen 2 - a military logistics operation which assisted in the Saudi-led coalition’s war effort in Yemen.
Raja Kamarul said he previously raised the same matter in the Dewan Rakyat, which he said Hishammuddin rejected.
