Yeoh defends decision to give RM20k from ministry funds to Sisters In Islam

Deputy Women, Family and Community Development Minister Hannah Yeoh has defended the decision to provide funds under the ministry to Sisters in Islam (SIS), which was labelled a "deviant" group before. Yeoh said that her ministry don't look at religion but at the target group of the organisation. She added that SIS have done extensive work as the group had given free legal aid to over 8,000 women.
