《Wild Thoughts》是Deep Water成立後創作的第一支單曲。正如大多數樂隊成立的初始，總是充滿了各種奇妙的想像，有很多難以達成的共識，更多的則是一拍即合的想法。

當樂隊把這些契合與碰撞想像成感情裏會存在的事情時，《Wild thoughts》便順勢流淌了出來，也很自然地貼合了這一矛盾的主題。兩位樂隊成員在創作中幻想了戀人之間那些美好卻又患得患失的胡思亂想，歌曲所描述的也是躺在沙發上的戀人，對愛情遊戲的猜想。而這所有的胡思亂想是一個人的獨自意淫，還是兩個人默契的契合？
