Our patient wanted to have bigger eyes in order to look less tired. She already had double eyelids, so the goal was to create a more prominent crease to open up the eyes. The chosen method to achieve this was Double Eyelid Surgery plus Epicanthoplasty surgery. This procedure uncovers the eyes to make them look bigger and elimiates the mongolian fold on the inside corner of the eye. A delicate horizontal incision is made across the eyelid to remove excess fat.This procedure is best done on people who have thicker eyelids and or have fat deposits in their eyelids. By repositioning the Mongolian fold, a softer and gentler look can be achieved.
