Tashigong (टशीगंग) is a beautiful village with only 6 homes in Spiti valley India . There is another village named "Tashigang" in Kinnaur near Khab and you have to trek to reach there . So do not confuse with the similar name .
Always search in google map for "Tashigong" which is near Kibbar in Spiti .A 16 km long dirt road takes you to this village. This is an unclaimed highest village in the world at 4650 m connected with motorable village .

Roads to the village goes mostly between meadows with gaining slight elevation . So driving is not that difficult .

We visited Tashigong in mid Oct 2019 and it was very good experience . You can see himalayan Ibex, blue sheep and Yak grazing in their natural habitat on a lucky day . There is home stay "Blue Sheep " in Tashigong if you want to spend day or two here .

This is now world's highest polling station . This year a polling booth was setup here for voting of 36 people.
