Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad announced that he has submitted his resignation as the Prime Minister on Monday.
PMO has confirmed Dr Mahathir sent in his resignation letter to the King at 1pm.
Meanwhile, Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia announced that Dr Mahathir has submitted his resignation from his position as the party’s chairman while party president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin announced Bersatu’s decision to leave Pakatan Harapan.
