Yong Peng, a town in Batu Pahat, Johor also known as "little Fuzhou", has became the first town in the country to introduce its own tourism year for 2017 with hopes of attracting at least 200,000 visitors. Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong launched the mobile application for the Visit Yong Peng Year on Sunday and said the app would allow tourists to view places to see, eat, play and stay in the area.
