Opposition MPs want Attorney-General Tommy Thomas to resign for the "blatant interference" by the government in the inquest into the death of fireman Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim in a riot last year.
During a press conference on Wednesday, Opposition leader Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob asked for a Royal Commission of Inquiry into the case, while PAS secretary-general Datuk Takiyuddin Hassan claimed that the AG had exceeded his powers in the way the inquest was held.
