Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador told reporters on Monday that the police at roadblocks had been making their own judgment when it comes to performing more thorough checks on motorists.

He explained that some police offers might have to skip the checks on some motorists to ease traffic congestion during peak hours.
