Cowboys QB Dak Prescott Suffers
Season-Ending Ankle Fracture.
Dak Prescott, quarterback for the
Dallas Cowboys, suffered a devastating injury
during the team’s Sunday night game. .
In a third quarter scramble, Prescott was tackled
by New York Giants free safety Logan Ryan. .
He suffered a compound fracture and
dislocation of his right ankle and was
rushed off the field by medical staff. .
He underwent surgery
that same day to
“wash out the wound
and fix the fracture.”.
The Cowboys have since
released a statement
saying his surgery was
“successfully completed.” .
Dak Prescott's surgery was
successfully completed last night
and he is expected to be released
from the hospital today, Dallas Cowboys, via CNN.
Although there has yet to be a timetable
set for Prescott’s return, he is at least done
for the rest of the 2020 season. .
Prescott, the 2016 NFL
Offensive Rookie of the Year,
will be out of contract
at the end of the season.
