Four people were sentenced by the Penang Magistrate's Court on Thursday after they pleaded guilty to drink-driving.
R. Devanaash Raj was sentenced to seven days’ jail and fined RM10,000 while Mohd Yunus Mohamad was sentenced to a day in jail and fined RM12,500.
Motorcyclist M. Amalan whose blood alcohol level tested almost seven times above the permitted level when he was arrested was jailed 10 days and fined RM10,000.
Wan Khye Zhee was jailed a day and fined RM12,000 after she admitted to driving while intoxicated in Jalan Datuk Keramat on Nov 28.
