Free Covid-19 vaccines: We will not be safe until everyone is safe, says Khairy

Malaysia will only be safe from the Covid-19 pandemic if everyone, including foreign citizens living here, receives the vaccines, says Khairy Jamaluddin.
The Science, Technology and Innovation Minister said the government is targeting 80% per cent of the population to create group immunity and form enough antibodies so that the virus does not infect people in the country.
Khairy, who is also the minister coordinating the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme, said this during an interview on Bernama News Channel’s Ruang Bicara programme on Thursday (Feb 11) night.
