Audience Members “Possessed” During a Screening of THE CONJURING 3

reports emerged out of Jakarta that several audience members at a screening of The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It were “possessed” by evil spirits. A video of the incident went viral on Tik Tok.
The TikTok video posted by user @witeewitee went viral as she showed how the movie was stopped midway and several moviegoers gathered around someone who was screaming and shouting as if possessed.
The video of the Jakarta incident, however, isn’t terribly convincing. While it does indeed show a crowd gathering after the movie had been paused, I can’t hear any screaming. No one appears extremely panicked, and even the person taking the video can be heard laughing.
