Covid-19: 4,611 new cases as total number exceeds 700,000, another 69 deaths

Malaysia recorded a drop of Covid-19 cases on Monday (June 21)at 4,611, making the cumulative number of cases in the country past the 700,000 mark.
The country also recorded 69 fatalities and 5,439 recoveries in the same 24-hour span.
Meanwhile, Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said 69% of the country’s Covid-19 cases since January 1 this year are sporadic and unlinked to any clusters, hence urged the public to continue practising "self-lockdown” by staying at home and avoiding meeting other people as much as possible.
