The newly opened Yong Peng vaccination centre (PPV) in Johor, which could vaccinate 2,000 people a day at its peak capacity, will be able to help increase the nation’s daily vaccination rate.
Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong visited the centre on Sunday (July 18), adding that his ministry expects about 107,000 public transport frontline workers to receive at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine by the end of August, while taxi drivers and e-hailing drivers will be receiving their vaccination at PPVs in the community.
