Zuraida: New high-potential markets being identified to increase furniture exports

Malaysia is identifying several new markets with high potential, including North America, Canada and the Middle East, to increase the furniture industry’s exports, said Datuk Zuraida Kamaruddin.
The Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister told the Dewan Rakyat on Thursday in reply to a question from Rompin MP Datuk Seri Hasan Ariffin regarding the ministry’s efforts to boost the furniture industry and raise the country’s export value.
