LOS ANGELES, CA -- Coach Ime Udoka spoke with media following Boston's 117-102 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night. On the team's strategy Udoka said, “We wanted to invite them to shoot jump shots and keep them out of the paint. Obviously that didn’t work.”
Udoke emphasized that lack of execution on the defensive end and overall hustle sunk the Celtics in this game. "The effort and lack of toughness showed a bit tonight."
Later in the game as they got into the final minutes, Ime Udoka pulled the starters and changed up the lineup. While the team has a game tomorrow and rest seemed logical, Udoka also said “There was no spark there" at the time for their starting unit.
