LOS ANGELES, CA -- Robert Williams spoke to the media following the Celtics 117-102 loss to the Lakers on the road Tuesday night. Williams said that the team needed to improve defensively, saying “We were messing up the coverages every single time.”
Williams also added that the team started strong and just failed to react as they got into the 2nd half. “It felt like our energy was great, especially starting off the game,...we just weren’t ready for the punch in the second half, so we’ve got to clean that up.” Boston won't have to wait long, since they return to the Staples Center tomorrow night against the Clippers.
