Our visit to Candelaria was a huge success, earlier we published a video about our first impressions, with the focus on the huge basilica of the town: br br br this was already all impressive but the second part of the day, when we explored the old town, walked through the nativity scene (it was Christmas time when we visited) and stopping by the Casa de Miquelas - where we learned about Tenerife's pottery art and history - was our favorite part of Candelaria.br br We were loving the charm of this area of town but the true highlight was having lunch at our favorite (new) restaurant on Tenerife, El Monaguillo - I mean, just look at this serving of Escaldón, it's a piece of art.
