TURTLE ATTACKS DIVERSbr WITH VIDbr BY BEN RUDDbr Watch as a late night dive takes an unexpected turn!br Hayden Smith, from Florida, US, was diving with his buddy just after midnight.br While filming, they came across a calm turtle, until it suddenly charged straight at Hayden!br The turtle slammed into his chest before circling around them in the dark water.br Luckily, the turtle swam off, leaving them both rattled but safe!br He said: “I was diving with a buddy just after midnight last July looking for lobsters, the season had just opened.”br “We came across a turtle who seemed calm so we decided to check it out. I was filming it with my GoPro attached to my scuba mask.”br “All of a sudden the turtle turned and charged me! He slammed into my chest and bounced off.”br “I swam away thinking he’d attack again, I looked up and noticed he was circling us.”br “Thinking he was coming back for another charge, I swam over to my dive buddy and hid my dive light hoping he couldn’t see us.”br “Thankfully he did not charge us again and he swam off.
