Along with other food prices, the price of meat have gone through the roof of late, making it harder for westerners to indulge. Although American might think it's weird, insects are considered food in lots of other cultures. Unlike conventional farming, insect farming is green and clean and produces lots of protein for very little energy. Although Americans are not ready for an all but feast right now, slimmer wallets could assure them that bugs can be tasty after all.
