While talking to Bangladeshi journalists, Mr. Saleh M. “Haji” Munshi, Managing Director, Indonesia & South Asia Developing Markets focused on sharing the future plan of DELL in Bangladesh. He said, this region has total 20 countries with 720 million population and $2.6 trillion worth of GDP. This makes it the second largest market in the world. He mentioned Bangladesh as a significant part of this region, DELL plans to expand their operation here. In future DELL also plans to work with the students of the country which will lead to product or solutions made specifically for them. In the press conference it was also mentioned that, DELL is working in the Business Product Development and Data Management Capabilities sector of IT in Bangladesh.
He also mentioned that in the recent years DELL has invested around $10 billion in acquisition and restructuring which has led to better worldwide performance. A reflection of this is that the DELL team in Bangladesh has been doubled in size.
