Designer Tarun Tahiliani’s trip to the Kumbh Mela led to him creating a collection that not only drew inspiration from the festival but also brought the colour saffron into the fashion family. His silhouettes range from kurtis and sarees to jackets and skirts. They were intricately detailed with embroideries like laser etching, zardosi, appliqué, bandhini and jamewar in complimenting colours.
