Between combat, players can replenish their potion stocks and update their equipment and skills. What they fail to collect in battle, they will have to obtain from the shop. There are two types of in-game currencies, gold and gems.

The former can be collected through looting and selling any unwanted equipment. The latter is the rare currency through which the game monetizes. Both currencies can be used to purchase potions and equipment, as well as to learn and upgrade skills.

Despite many merits, there are some serious drawbacks in Dark Avengers. Its two multiplayer modes (Infinity Tower and Death Match) often deny the player access or fail to connect to the server. The dungeons are all highly similar, both in overall feel and down to the details in the corners.

The background music is nothing more than a repeated fragment of melody which will become excruciatingly irritating after a while. Some planned contents are not yet ready. In a word, the game looks half-done and appears to be crafted in a not so refined manner.
