Unfortunately, because the Untethered exploits employed by Evasion are patched in iOS 6.1.3, this jailbreak remains exclusive to A4-powered devices and is Tethered by default, which we’ll explain later. If you own a newer iDevice on a previous version of iOS 6, including 6.0.1, 6.0.2, 6.1, 6.1.1 and 6.1.2, we strongly advise following our evasi0n jailbreak tutorial, as it includes untethered support for all devices at br Even it’s possible to use redsn0w on 6.1.3, iPhone and iPod touch owners will only be able to jailbreak using what’s referred to as a “TetheredJailbreak”. Consequently, devices jailbroken using this method will require Redsnowto boot into their fully jailbroken state every time they power off.
