[Ariane 5] Launch of Eutelsat 25B & GSAT-7 on Ariane 5 Rocket (VA-215)

Europe's Heavy Launch Rocket, the Ariane 5, successfully launched today, August 29th 2013 at 20:30 UTC carrying the Eutelsat 25B and GSAT-7 satellites into orbit. This was the 4th launch of an Ariane 5 this year from Kourou in French Guiana.

Eutelsat 25B will position itself at 25.5 degrees East and provide broadcasting services for the Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia.

GSAT-7 will be positioned at 74 degrees East and provide direct-to-home broadcasting to India.
