Opposition continued its protests on fifth consecutive day in Punjab Assembly against the non issuance of development funds, later they staged walk out, however assembly approved four resolutions.
Session was resumed after the delay of one and half hour in the chair of Deputy speaker Sher Ali Gorchani as opposition leader Mehmoodur Rasheed talking on point of order said that they are being treated in biased manners and even a single coin is not being issued to opposition. later opposition boycotted the session.
On the other hand, house approved four resolutions despite the uproar by the opposition as they saying funds should be granted as per Chief Minister’s announcement.
However, house has adopted the resolutions regarding trial of acid throwing incidents in anti-terrorism court, increase in wages of PTV actors, immediate implementation of sentence of criminal indulged in sex torture incidents and setting up of help desk for women in the office of DCOs. Later session was adjourned for tomorrow.
