I would walk on mountains,
I would drink only from private fountains,
I would eat a fruit every hour,
I would shun all foodstuffs sour,

I would share my single bed with Zahara,
I would publish a book about desert Sahara,
I would bring a railway line to KEZI
and build a passport office there, in these coming years,
If only wishes were horses!

I would preside in Matabeleland State,
I would bring Latinos and Greeks to Matabeleland State,
I would give shelter to all beggars and street kids,
I would make watermelons bear no seeds,
If only wishes were horses!

I would marry the queen's daughters eleven,
I would fly willy-nilly to God in heaven,
I would raise my dead mother,
I would heal my mad father,
If only wishes were horses!

I would eliminate Twitter and Facebook,
I would hire a private cook,
I would stop the sun from setting,
I would save ice from melting,
If Only Wishes Were Horses!
