Army Chief General Raheel Sharif visited Siachen on Saturday and spent time with army men and officers deployed there. He said Pakistan is ready to fight all dangers, adding that the army will not hesitate to offer any sacrifice for country’s defence, Dunya News reported.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), General Sharif also laid flowers on martyrs’ resting place. He also spent time with the army men on world’s highest front.
Talking on the occasion, army chief said that Pakistan Army is always ready to fight any danger, adding that army will not hesitate to offer any sort of sacrifice for the defence of motherland.
He emphasized that the armed forces must keep full concentration on their professional abilities, skills and training in order to respond to any challenge.
